why doesn’t the overall high score capture the true high scores even if coming from the same player?

We made a decision that for the Hall of Fame we’d only capture your high score for the number of innings you selected without going into extra time.

We didn’t want people to deliberately keep tying the game so they could build an infinitely high score through playing extra innings after extra innings.

Would that explain what you are seeing, or is it something else?

For example, in the easy mode if you select overall I have several high scores in various regulation innings that beat the number 2 high score showing 80. I should have the top 3 or 4 spots in the rankings.
